Many people ask us about chemical free sofas and sectionals. Since 2007 it has been our belief to sell the best product, free of harsh chemicals and made in a responsible way.  Our west coast sourcing and quaity keep the carbon use low and landfills free of cheap disposable furniture.  We have seen our sofas last well over 10 years and longer, we have examples in use that we know of for sure!

Our made in the USA sofas and sectionals offer fire retardant-free cushions and fabrics in all models. We use a zero VOC glue in our solid wood frames, the legs are stained with water-based stains. The Polyfoam we use is CertiPUR-US® certified direct from our California-based foam manufacture. 8 gauge sinuous spring suspension system with a lifetime warranty rounds out the construction..

Bamboo Furniture

We also offer solid bamboo furniture free of any particle board or laminated woods. Solid bamboo offers one of the best options for low chemical wood furniture.  Greenington did win the award in 2023 for most sustainable furniture.

We purchased the Taylor sectional in felt gray a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. The quality is high and also very comfortable. We have taken multiple naps on it already. It also has removable, washable cushion covers! Joel and Anthony, the two sales associates, were also so helpful and patient during the buying process. They ordered multiple swatches for us and made sure our order was processed correctly. The sectional came in a couple of days early which was a bonus. Couldn't recommend MDS more!
